Pecos County - The Pecos County Sheriff's Department will be shelling out nearly $100,000 for new video equipment and software for their patrol cars.
The software includes high definition pictures, on board GPS system and crash detection.
Sheriff’s Department officials say the high-tech equipment will allow officers to know where everyone is at all times.
The new equipment will be ordered in January and paid for by the county.
