Midland, TX - Investigators say around 10 p.m. a fire started in one mobile home then spread the neighbor’s home on West County rd 54 in Midland County.
Our CBS 7 crew that was on scene says a couple living in the home that initially caught on fire made it out safely.
Their neighbor Clinton Glenn says he and his wife were getting their little girl ready for bed and giving her a bath when they felt the heat coming from their windows and walls.
Glenn says after his family got out of the house, within minutes the flames engulfed it.
"Its my home,” he said, “Now its gone, the clothes, the baby’s things, and everything sentimental."
Investigators say they are still looking into what started the fire in the first mobile home. Ray Weatherby with the Midland Sheriff's Office says they have not ruled out arson.
