ODESSA, TX – The Odessa Fire Department is warning residents on the dangers of using deep fryers around holiday season.
Fire officials say that many people will be using deep fryers to cook their holiday dinner, but if they don’t follow directions properly this could lead to a fire.
They say that frying frozen turkeys and using an excessive amount of oil are two ways to cause a fire while cooking.
