Two Men in Custody Following Incident in Parking Lot and Foot Chase in Odessa, DEA Investigating 10/26/12

Two men are in custody after a foot pursuit in Odessa Thursday night.
Details are limited but this is what we know. Odessa police say an off-duty overheard on the scanner DEA agents were searching for a man with a rifle near the Wal Mart on 42nd Street.
When officers arrived, DEA and FBI agents had one person in handcuffs in the parking lot of Chili’s. CBS 7 crews on the scene say there was a white pickup truck with a busted window.
Meanwhile, Odessa Police and a DPS Helicopter were searching for the reported suspect with a gun in a field behind the Cinemark movie theater on Preston Road.
Officers located the suspect and took him into custody. Officers say they did not find a gun on him.
No word yet on what prompted the search. Police say DEA is investigating this case.
