Odessa, TX - Family Promise in Midland says their shelter is filling up with bigger families than usual.
The shelter says right now there is one single dad at the shelter along with his 5 children, a mom with 4 children, and another mom is on the wait list with 5 children.
They say skyrocketing rent prices are pricing single parents out of their homes, especially those with large families.
The shelter currently has a wait list of families waiting to get into the program
