"Safe Place of the Permian Basin" - Victim's Awareness Workshop 10/25/12

October is "domestic violence awareness month,” and one organization is providing resources for victims and their families.
"Safe place of the Permian Basin" hosted a victim's awareness workshop yesterday, where a dramatic presentation gave clients an insight about the issue of domestic violence.
According to DPS, in 2010 there were close to four thousand reported incidents of family violence in the 15 counties Safe Place serves in West Texas.
