Odessa, TX - This year some voters are taking advantage of curbside voting.
Midland and Ector County offer the service. They say elderly and disabled voters can still come to the polls but avoid the line if they are physically unable to enter the polling place.
Elections officials say they try to be as accommodating as possible and they will actually bring the ballot to you.
If you need to use curbside voting, a family member or friend can drive you to a polling location and bring your ID inside for you.
Just have that person notify an election officer, who will then bring a ballot outside to you to fill out and put it in the ballot box.
If you are going to the polls alone, please call the polling place ahead of time so they will be able to assist you.
