Odessa Police Investigating Aggravated Robbery 10/24/12

Time: 1505 hours. Location: 221 Wabash
The Odessa Police is investigating a report of aggravated robbery at a residence located at 221 Wabash.
Police on the scene were told by the victim, that the suspect, a female known to her, entered her house through an unlocked door armed with a knife and a bat.
The victim wrestled with the suspect in an attempt to take away the weapons.
The victim was slapped in the face by the suspect who took the victim's money and cell phone and ran from the scene.
The victim, a female, 38 years of age, received minor injury from the assault and did not require transport.
While searching for the suspect, who reportedly lived in the area, the suspect approached officers in the 200 block of Fitch and was detained.
Odessa Police say that after talking with the suspect and others, there are conflicting stories as to what actually happened.
No arrest has been made at this time, and police say they are still investigating.
