New Hotel in the Works for Stanton 10/23/12

Stanton – Visitors could have a second place to stay in Stanton by as early as May 2013.
A Sweetwater group is planning to build a new hotel just east of the current Comfort Inn on Interstate 20 in Stanton.
The 36 to 42 unit building will be a two-story hotel in the front with a one-story building in the back.
The proposal will go before the Stanton City Council for approval to purchase property.
The project will cost from $1.8 million to $2.5 million.
