Big Pring, Tx. - Big Spring City Council members will get to hear more information about the Economic Development Corporation.
At today's council meeting, the Texas Comptroller's Office will make a presentation to provide an overview of "Type A" and "Type B" Corporations.
Voters will decide in November if the city will move from A "Type A" to "Type B" Corporation.
Members of the Big Spring E.D.C have publically announced their support of the current "Type A" Corpration, in which cities must use the sales tax revenue for projects that recruit new business.
Type B Corporations allow money to be spent more broadly, which Big Spring Mayor Tommy Duncan says gives them more options.
