MIDLAND, TX - A controversial drilling request in the tall city is being deferred. RSP Permian is requesting to drill 5 wells within the city limits, something many nearby residents have spoken out against.
The permits were supposed to be going before city council tomorrow morning for preliminary approval, however city leaders tell us RSP has requested that the issue be deferred. Council will consider deferring the permits tomorrow.
