October 22, 2012 – Motor vehicles that do not have a valid and lawfully attached license plate and inspection sticker and which are inoperable, wrecked, dismantled or partially dismantled are considered junked vehicles and are illegal.

Junked vehicles in the City limits are unsightly and dangerous promoting safety as well as fire hazards. Junked vehicles on private property must not be visible or accessible from the general public. Please help keep our City safe and clean by removing junked vehicles.


October is National Code Enforcement Awareness Month. Code Enforcement Officers in the City of Odessa work with businesses and residents to promote awareness of City codes to keep our City a safe and clean place to live, work and play.
