ECTOR, COUNTY- Ector County Environmental Enforcement and local volunteers kick of the “Clean Up West Odessa” initiative today.
West Texas took to the streets of some of the most gritty areas across the county to collect trash and dispose of it properly.
Community leaders say that community support in keeping the county clean is a necessity.
The Ector County Health Department also set up large dumpsters set up around West Odessa for people to fill with any items they would like to dispose of.
The clean up project started at 8:00 a.m. at El Jefe Restaurant in Odessa.
