Aggravated Robbery Suspect Caught 10/17/12

On October 17th at 6:22 p.m. the Midland Police Department arrested the suspect, Jonathan David Bridges 2/9/1980 from N. Carolina, at the Super Mercado parking lot off of 2208 N. Big Spring Street. Bridges has been charged with Aggravated Robbery.
MIDLAND TX 10/17/2012 - On October 17th at approximately 02:52 a.m., the Midland Police Department responded to a Kent Kwik, which is located at 5311 W. Wadley in reference to an Aggravated Robbery. Upon arrival, the clerk advised that a white male, wearing a black tank top, black pants and black shoes entered the store and purchased a cigar. The male left and returned a couple minutes later. When the suspect reentered the store he walked to the back where the restrooms were and lured the clerk down the hallway. The suspect asked the clerk if he wanted to make some extra money and the clerk told him no and that he needed to leave. The suspect then bent over at the waste and stated that he was going to be sick and pulled the clerk into the menís restroom. While in the restroom, the suspect put a torn $20 dollar bill in the clerks hand and held a knife at his head and told the clerk to go to the back room while he took some beer. The clerk went to the back room and the suspect stole 3 six packs of beer.
The suspect was last seen getting into a mid 2000ís model maroon hatchback sedan. The suspect got into the passengerís seat and a witness observed that a white female was driving the getaway vehicle. The vehicle was last seen northbound on the service road of Loop 250.
The suspect was described as a white male, 5í09Ē to 6í, between 150 and 180 pounds, brown hair and brown eyes. His hair was spiked. He was wearing a black tank top, black pants and black shoes. The suspectís right arm was sleeved with a tribal tattoo and he had a marijuana leaf on his upper left arm. He appeared to be in his mid 20ís.
