Two New Mexico Women Arrested After Hiding Pot in Tires Near Presidio 10/16/12

Presidio - Customs and Border Protection Officers are finding people are trying new ways to smuggle drugs into West Texas.
Earlier this month, they seized 124 pounds of marijuana after two New Mexico women tried to cross through the Presidio Port of Entry.
The drugs were hidden inside metal collars attached to the rims of all four of the car's tires.
Officers found the drugs after finding the density of the tires didn't match up with what they should be.
The women are now facing federal charges.
