Monahans Police Seeing a Rise in Auto Burglaries 10/16/12

A West Texas town is seeing an increase in vehicle burglaries.
According to the “Monahans News,” as of noon on Friday, police responded to six vehicle burglaries from the night before.
Police say the method of burglaries appears to be the same in all cases.
Police also confirmed reports that vehicle registrations have been removed from the vehicles.
There were no reports of major losses. No firearms were stolen in the burglaries.
