ANDREWS, TX- After many delays the Andrews fire department is moving forward with construction on their new training station.
Today they will be pouring concrete for the new foundation.
Constructors are scheduled to start building off of the foundation in 7 to 10 days.
Complications included multiple errors with the foundation.
The $500,000 training building was anticipated to be complete by July, but the building company could not find contractors for the initial foundation installation.
