Cruz Wins Small Business Association Endorsement 10/10/12

Associated Press
October 10, 2012
Dallas Tx. - A national small business trade association has endorsed Texas Republican U.S. Senate candidate Ted Cruz.

The tea party favorite and former state solicitor visited a Dallas machine company Tuesday. There, he accepted the nomination of the National Federation of Independent Business' political action committee.

Cruz is vying with former Democratic state Rep. Paul Sadler to replace retiring Republican U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison.

The federation was founded in 1943 and has members around the country. Its mission is to help members "own, operate and grow their businesses."

Cruz said "we have to get the boot of the federal government off the necks of small business owners." He promised to reduce federal regulations and reduce government spending.

Sadler was campaigning Tuesday in Lubbock on the campus of Texas Tech University.
