Odessa Man Pleads Guilty in Shooting Case 10/8/12

Ector County District Attorney, Bobby Bland, issues the following statement:
Today in the 70th District Court, Justin Mireles pled guilty to 3 cases of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, 3 cases of deadly conduct and 1 case of evading arrest. As a result of the plea, Mireles acknowledged his guilt in a number of shootings which occurred in Odessa in January 2012. He received 10 years in prison. He faced a range of punishment which ran from probation up to 20 years in prison. The victims of these cases were notified and approved of the plea.
