Pecos City Council Opts Out of Alternative Street Repair Funding Plan 10/7/12

Pecos - Pecos city council members voted to not move forward with an alternative funding plan for a 15 million dollar bond initiative to repair the city's infrastructure.
Members voted to shift funds around in their budget to start making repairs a little at a time.
If the council had gone with the alternative plan, the funding for the first year of the project would come entirely though water and sewer rate increases.
