Odessa - Today was the kick off for Operation Christmas Child.
Tatiana Woods a shoebox donation recipient was present to help spread the word about the importance of helping children across the world.
The operation is looking to put together more than 10,000 shoe boxes, filled with tooth brushes, school supplies and toys, all to be shipped to children in need in Mexico, Central America, and Haiti.
"I love that I can be able to be the person that brought some color to my life of another orphan boy and show them the gospel," Woods said.
There are donation drop off locations in Alpine, Big Spring, Midland and Odessa.
