Rain Moves Out Today 10/02/12
Tuesday Morning Weather Update
Greg Morgan – Chief Meteorologist
After a few showers passed by this morning, expect clearing skies this afternoon. High temperatures will reach into the upper 70’s and lower 80’s for the Permian Basin. A few locations in the usual hot spots will hit the lower to mid 80’s.
Sunny skies will continue the next couple of days. However, temperatures will jump all over the place. Look for highs in the lower 90’s on Wednesday, upper 70’s on Thursday and mid 80’s on Friday.
A stronger cold front will drop into the region on Saturday. This will bring a chance of rain showers to the area. In addition, a major shot of cold air will drop into West Texas. Highs will struggle to get out of the 50’s on Saturday and Sunday. Overnight lows will fall into the 40’s on Saturday and Sunday nights.
