UPDATE: Wreck Involving Two 18 Wheelers Closes I-20 10/2/12
UPDATE: 9:20 A.M.
A spokesperson with DPS tells CBS 7 both 18 wheelers were travelling westbound on I-20. One 18 wheeler pulled over on the shoulder of the road for unknown reasons while the other 18 wheeler veered off the road and collided into the stopped 18 wheeler.
The investigation is still on-going.

UPDATE 7:45 A.M.
The driver has been freed from the wreckage.
Both drivers in the accident has been sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Midland Tx. - The Midland County Sheriff's Office tells CBS 7, one person is trapped after two 18 wheelers are involved in a wreck on I-20 near mile marker 147.
The wreck occured around 3:30 this morning.
DPS has diverted traffic from Martin County on to the northside service road.
