Accused Murderer Officially Charged 10/01/12

Midland - Murder suspect Mark Augustin Castellano officially has been charged with the murder of his estranged girlfriend, Michelle Warner. Castellano reportedly told Houston police that he murdered Warner and drove their three year old son, Cayden, to Odessa where he was left with relatives. Castellano then returned to Houston where he retrieved Warner's body. Police say he took her body to Midland county where Warner was buried in a shallow grave.
Midland Sheriff's deputies and DPS found the murdered woman's body yesterday in the 7000 block of South County Road 1200. They located the body using directions supplied by Castellano during his reported confession. It took mounted patrols and other searchers about four hours to find the body Sunday evening.
Houston police say Castellano and Michelle Warner had a violent argument after which he took his son from Houston to Odessa. Warner disappeared that day and wasn't seen again.
The three year old son is safe and has been returned to Houston.
