Midland - Midland Sheriff Gary Painter says Houston police detectives are on their way to Midland to view the area where Michelle Warner's body was found. The 31-year-old Houston mother was discovered yesterday evening in the 7000 block of South County Road 1200 in Midland County. Midland deputies and the DPS began searching for Warner after her estranged boyfriend reportedly confessed to her murder and then burying her body on private property outside Midland. The cause of her death has not been given.
Houston Police have charged Mark Castellano with murder. Castellano and the couple's three year old son, Cayden, reportedly left Houston headed for Odessa after the couple had a fight. Michelle Warner was never seen again until her body was found around six yesterday evening. Officers say her body was found half buried. Midland Justice of the Peace Billy Johnson is awaiting contact with Houston authorities to arrange to have Warner's body sent back to Houston for an autopsy. Midland Sheriff Gary Painter says his office is cooperating with Houston police who he believes will be handling the case. Castellano reportedly confessed to killing Michelle Warner in Houston before burying her in Midland County.
The couple's three year old son, Cayden, is safe in Houston.
