If you live near the duck pound at A Street and Cuthburt, the fire department has checked the pumps and found everything to be in working order.
They have plans ready if the pumps should fail. You should not be concerned about your home flooding by the pond.
Work crews are looking to fix a water main break on Quail Ridge, but the location can't be determined until the flooding recedes.
Four or five residents are without water until crews can isolate the break and make repairs.
The city adds that vehicles marked with yellow police tape have been searched by EMS crews and you don't need to call and report these.
EMS is working to make sure all vehicles reported to authorities are searched for victims and unnecessary reports slow down fire response times.
