Severe Thunderstorms Rumble Across West Texas
Thunderstorms, a few severe have been rumbling across West Texas this afternoon. Currently a severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for a thunderstorm just north of Odessa, moving across Gardendale. This storm is moving northeast at 25 mph. The warning is in effect until 6:45pm this evening. The warning includes northern Ector, southwestern Martin, northwestern Midland and southeastern Andrews counties. This storm has wind gusts up to 60 mph, heavy rain, quarter-sized hail, and frequent lightning.
