West Texas - It’s a nationwide effort to keep prescription drugs out of the wrong hands.
This weekend, local Drug Enforcement Agency officials, along with local organizations like the Midland Coalition and Palmer Drug Abuse Program, are teaming up for the national drug take-back day.
Officials say the event is happening across the country, but is very important in our communities, where prescription drug abuse is on the rise.
You can drop off old prescription medications this Saturday, the 29th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at locations across Midland, Odessa and surrounding communities, including PDAP in Midland.
