Big Spring Symphony Orchestra Tickets On Sale 9/24/12

Big Spring - Tickets for the Big Spring Symphony Orchestra’s 31st season go on sale today at three outlets in Big Spring: The Chamber of Commerce, Heritage Museum and Blum’s Jewelers.

The first performance of the new season will be October 6th at 8 pm in the Big Spring Municipal Auditorium.

The first show is called an Evening in Vienna and will feature the music of Strauss. Guest Conductor John Giordano of Corpus Christi will conduct.

Other dates for the orchestra are Dec 15th, when the orchestra will present a symphonic Christmas program, February 2nd when pianist Charles Webb will be the featured artist, and on March 30 the symphony will play the music of ABBA.

At the October 6th performance, season tickets and tickets for individual performances will be for sale at the door.
A special kickoff and fundraiser for the new season will be October 4th at the Big Spring Country Club.

It’s open to the public and will feature heavy snacks and a performance by the musical group Rhapsody, made up of talented students at Big Spring High School.

The event will be from 7 to 9 PM. The cost is $25 per person. Season tickets will be for sale.
