(Odessa)- Halliburton crews were out off Highway 80 between Midland and Odessa over the weekend, continuing their search for a Radioactive Rod that went missing earlier this month.
Officials with Halliburton say the tool was lost somewhere between two well sites in Pecos and Odessa.
Since the disappearance, agencies from all over the state continue to search for the item by ground and air.
The cylinder is radioactive and can be harmful if anyone comes in contact with it for more than two hours.
Officials tell CBS 7 that you won't die if you are in the vicinity of the rod.
Halliburton is offering a reward for the missing device.
