MIDLAND,TX - This morning, about 100 runners took their mark for the Stop Child Trafficking Now Walk at Midland College.
They were walking to raise awareness of the hundreds of thousands of children trafficked in Texas each year. Human trafficking is considered to be modern day slavery.
The group raised more than $1,900 at the walk. The money goes to Stop Child Trafficking Now.
