Sunny And Warm Again Today 09/21/12
Friday Morning Weather Forecast
Greg Morgan – Chief Meteorologist
Sunny to mostly sunny skies are expected again today. Highs will top out in the mid to upper 90’s. Winds will be out of the south at 10-20mph. While most locations will remain free of rain, there will be a slight chance of showers and storms in the higher elevations of the Davis Mountains and the Marfa Plateau.
A cold front will drift into the region on Saturday. This will bring highs down into the 80’s by Sunday. A few extra clouds will move overhead this weekend but little in the way of rain can be expected.
Conditions from one day to the next will change very little over the course of next week. Monday through Wednesday will be in the 80’s and 90’s. Skies will be partly cloudy.
Another upper level storm system will drift into the region around Thursday and Friday of next week. Rain chances have been introduced to the forecast in response to this.
