Officials tell us 34 year-old Gardendale resident James Eric Bartlett was arrested Wednesday night after shots were fired in the Ten Four Lounge parking lot.
Bartlett is charged with deadly conduct, discharging a firearm, a Felony 3, for shooting his gun in the parking lot around 2:00 am.
Bartlett was released from jail Wednesday on a $5,000 bond.

Official Statement from ECHD Police Chief Brad Timmons:
The Ector County Hospital District Police Department was notified of the arrest of Officer Eric Bartlett by the Ector County Sheriff's Department on September 19, 2012. As a result of the allegation of criminal charges, Officer Bartlett has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of an internal investigation.
Officer Bartlett is a 8 year law enforcement officer and has been employed by the Ector County Hospital District Police Department since December 2011.
No further information is available at this time.
