Chicago Il. - It's back to school today in Chicago, and one mother says she "couldn't be happier."
After teachers went on strike Sept. 10, Erica Weiss says she had to leave work in the middle of the day to pick up her 6-year-old daughter.
Delegates for the teachers union voted yesterday to suspend the strike that disrupted daily routines for thousands of families. More than 26,000 teachers and staff will vote on a contract proposal in the coming weeks.
