One Man and Two Juveniles Arrested in Connection with Tejas Shooting Sports Burglary 9/17/12

On September 10, 2012, the Odessa Police Department responded to what was originally called in as an accident at the Tejas Shooting Sports. As the investigation unfolded it became apparent that the incident was a burglary and not an accident. The Odessa Police Department Crimes Against Property Unit began investigating the incident. As a result of the coordinating efforts on behalf of patrol, investigators and the Texas Rangers, two juvenile males and one adult male have been charged in connection with the burglary, all three are charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity, felony 3rd degree.
Three firearms were recovered. Investigators are still looking for three additional firearms. Anyone with information about the weapons taken during this burglary are asked to notify the Odessa Police Department at 432-333-3641 or Odessa Crime Stoppers at 432-333-TIPS.

Hispanic male, 16 years of age, in custody at the Ector County Youth Center
Hispanic male, 16 years of age, in custody at the Ector County Youth Center
Daniel Aaron Veloz, date of birth, 07/13/1994, in custody at the Ector County Law Enforcement Center.
