The Midland Reporter Telegram reports that MPD has ruled the death a suicide.
UPDATE 3:20 PM
Midland Police: On Friday, September 14, 2012 at 2:46 p.m., the Midland Police and Fire Departments responded to North Carver and East Front in reference to a train accident. As of right now, there has been one confirmed fatality.
Investigation for this accident is currently ongoing.

CBS 7 crews are on their way to reports of a person hit by a train on Carver and Front Street in Midland.
Scanner reports that there may be a fatality, but that has not been confirmed by MPD. This happened around 3 p.m. Midland Police, Fire Department and EMS are on the scene.
