Cloudy skies and cooler temperatures will remain in the offing for today. Highs will top out in the upper 60’s to the lower 70’s. Rain chances will be on and off again through the day. A large upper level storm system will continue to spin over New Mexico today. Energy associated with this system will eject across West Texas today and tomorrow. As such, rain chances will remain in the picture but the key word to remember is isolated.
High temperatures will rise over the weekend. Expect highs in the 70’s on Saturday and the 80’s on Sunday and Monday. Sunny skies are expected on Sunday and Monday.
A cold front will drop into the region on Monday night. Little in the way of rain is expected with this front. However, we should experience a bit of high wind when the front moves through. Tuesday will be cooler in the wake of the boundary. Expect highs in the 70’s on Tuesday afternoon.
