Odessa Police Searching for Two Men Wanted for Theft 9/13/12

The Odessa Police Department is searching for two men in connection with a theft at the Walmart located at 4210 John Ben Shepperd Parkway. A Walmart associate reported that two Hispanic males entered the store and began placing assorted items in a shopping cart. The suspects walked past the registers toward the north-side exit doors. A Walmart associate attempted to make contact when one of the suspects reached toward his waist line and acted as if he was going to pull out a weapon.
The suspects took off running from the store and threatened to shoot the associate if he chased them. The suspects were last seen running west bound across Parkway towards the mall. Total of merchandise stolen and recovered was $191.87
The suspects are described as follows:
(1) Hispanic male, 5’10” tall, 300 lbs. short black hair with brown eyes, goatee, approximately 25-30 years of age, wearing a black t-shirt with white writing and blue jeans.
(2) Hispanic male, 5’5”tall, 140 lbs, black hair with brown eyes, approximately 25-30 years of age, wearing a blue/red/gray striped polo shirt and blue jeans.
