CRANE, TX - Crane County Officials will receive a new salary raise. All elected county officials will have a $6,000 increase to their current salaries.
Hourly officials will have a $2 increase to their current salaries. County commissions will make approximately $42,000 a year.
County Judge John Farmer says they haven’t received an increase in more than 3 years. He says they are losing more workers due to the oil field and this pay raise will help them compete with oil field jobs.
