Crane County Lowers Tax Rates 9/13/12

CRANE, TX - Today Crane County Commissioners voted unanimously to lower the tax rate by 3 cents. The tax rate was .29 cents last year.
Crane County Commissioners say with recent revenue from the oil industry, they are able to give lower the rate.
According to The Texas County Progress magazine, Crane County has the 15th lowest tax rate in the state of Texas.
