Dramatic Rise in Whooping Cough Cases 9/10/12

West Texas is leading the state in cases of whopping cough and health officials are urging you to get immunized.
According to local health experts, Midland and Ector counties are seeing a dramatic rise in cases.
The state health department says close to 1,100 cases of Pertussis have been reported so far this year in Texas.
Five young children have died from the disease.
