"Ride for a Cure" to Help Local MDA Families 9/8/12

Midland – West Texas Harley enthusiasts rode and bid against each other for a good cause this morning.
The “Ride for a Cure” bike ride started a Legacy Harley and ended on the same location a little after 2. The raffle bid included a Harley Davidson “Fat Boy.”
We are told all proceeds will go to the MDA combating more than 43 neuromuscular diseases thru research and patient services programs.
“This event is widely important. We have over 300 local families affected by MDA so the “Ride for a Cure” really is a way for a lot of the riders to come together and support MDA and these local families,” said MDA Executive Director.
Last year's event raised $35,000 and they looking to break the record today. Lunch was courtesy of Dickie's BBQ.
