High Student Enrollment Takes Its Toll On Local School Districts 9/7/12

Odessa Tx. - High student enrollment continues to take a toll on local school districts, even forcing one Odessa school to no longer accept new students.
Murry Fly Elementary is now closed to new enrollment after hitting 899 students on Wednesday.
Cavazos Elementary is also closed to new students.
According to ECISD officials, the district added 64 more students yesterday , bringing total enrollment to more than 29,500 students.
Thats 14 hundred more than on this same day last year.
