Fort Stockton - Fort Stockton economic development is brining a unique industry to West Texas perfect for our open skies and hot sun.
The city has leased out 640 acres of land to a solar energy company.
City Manager Raul Rodriguez says nothing has been built on the land yet, but they are working out the details on how the solar energy will plug into the grid.
