Midland Church Collecting Shoes for Children 9/4/12

MIDLAND, TX – A local church is getting ready for their first ever mission trip and it's a special trip to help children in Panama.
The Orchard Church in north Midland is heading to Panama this November with hundreds of shoes to give to children in need, but they need the community's support to purchase the shoes.
Each pair of shoes cost $20, and so far the community has purchased a little more than 300 shoes, but the church is hoping to have at least 500 pairs to give out.
If you would like to help The Orchard Church with their "Shoe Unto Others" mission trip you can purchase a pair of shoes at the Soft Suds Car Wash off Wadley Street in Midland, or through the church directly.
