Midland - Two Midland teenagers are dead tonight following the crash of their SUV early Saturday morning.

The boys, 14-year-old Bryce Carrigan and 18-year-old Bob Hensen were on a road trip with a group to the Grand Canyon.

Today, the church congregation of one of the victims remembered their lost friend.

This morning was about the youth at MidCitites Church as they led the morning service.

They began the service taking a moment to remember a member of their congregation who lost his life yesterday.

"We mourn with those who mourn. I want to take just a moment for us to pause and pray for some families in our church,” Senior Associate Pastor Mickey Eckles said. “If you haven't heard already, there was a tragic accident on Saturday morning about 2:00 am with two Midland Classical students who were killed in that accident. One of those students is Bryce Carrigan. Bryce was part of this youth group. There was another student at MCA that lost his life, Bob hensen."

The church’s focus was on lifting up everyone involved.

"We need to rally around this family and really rally and pray. We need to still lift up and pray for those still in the hospital," Eckles said.

The unity of the youth group shined through song and testimony showing that their strength can get them through any of life's obstacles.

"It's important for us as a church family to rally around them in the coming days and weeks. Let's encourage them," Eckles said.

At this time we know that three passengers from the crash remain in an Arizona hospital. The driver and another passenger have been treated and released.
