Odessa – An Odessa congregation discovered they are missing out on spontaneous giving opportunities. They came up with an unusual idea.
Crossroads fellowship has brought in digital kiosks to make giving to the church more convenient and spontaneous. Members of the congregation say it supports the Christian way of giving.
Research points out that nearly 25% of members do not carry cash or a checkbook.
“We’ve allowed people the opportunity to give with a debit card expanding the option,” says Administrative Pastor, Kenny Comstock.
Church officials also say members are adapting really well to the new technology.
