Loved Ones Mourn Loss of 2 Midland Teens Killed in Arizona Rollover 9/1/12

It was supposed to be an extreme adventure, a group of adults and students from Midland Classical Academy were on a cross country tour of the Grand Canyon.
But this morning it ended tragically when their vehicle crashed, killing two teenagers.
For friends and family it was a shocking morning when they learned that 18-year-old Robert Hensen and 14-year-old Bryce Carrigan had lost their lives while on what they hoped would be the ultimate road trip.
A make shift memorial outside MCA is what you can find placed in memory of 18-year-old Robert Hensen. and 14-year-old Bryce Carrigan.
Both teens died in a one vehicle roll over early this morning 12 miles east of Tuba City in Arizona.
Arizona DPS say the vehicle was westbound on Arizona Highway 264 when it left the roadway and crashed just before two this morning.
Word of the accident traveled fast on social media as friends communicated their condolences in Facebook messages, saying the world is a dimmer place without them here and that they always knew how to put a smile on a face and thanking them both for being a positive influence in their friend's lives.
Robert was a senior at MCA this year and enjoyed playing ultimate frisbee.
Bryce was in the 8th grade and described as a happy and sweet person.
It was evident how much these two were loved by the number of cars packed into the parking lot of MCA for a private prayer meeting this evening.
Four other passengers were also injured in the crash. Arizona DPS has not released any additional info on their conditions at this time.
UPDATE 3:50 PM
Arizona DPS have confirmed with CBS 7 the identities of the two deceased from an early morning one vehicle rollover in Arizona.
Robert Henson, 18 and Bryce Carrigan, 14, both from Midland died in the accident.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety investigated a one vehicle fatal collision just before 2 am this morning involving people from Midland.
The collision was West bound on SR 264 MP 333 (12 miles east of Tuba City).
The vehicle was W/B on SR 264 when it left the roadway and rolled over.
Two occupants of the vehicle sustained fatal injuries.
The collision is still under investigation.
A private prayer vigil is being held tonight at 6 pm at MCA.

Flagstaff, AZ - A one vehicle rollover near Flagstaff, AZ has killed two young Midlanders and injured several others.
Arizona DPS tells CBS 7 that it happened around 2 am this morning inside the Navajo Reservation on a state highway.
They tell us that a silver Chevy Tahoe lost control and rolled.
Other sources tell CBS 7 that the deceased are two students from Midland Classical Academy. We have not been able to confirm any names with officials at this time.
