Big Spring - Big Spring Police are still investigating the vandalism done to the Big Spring Vietnam Memorial.
The vandals broke the windshield on the Cobra helicopter, as well as take items used in past wars from a display case.
After assessing the damage done, memorial committee members are looking to repair damage done.
"We want the people that did this caught and justice served," Jerry Groves, P.R. coordinator for the Big Spring Vietnam Memorial Committee said. "They not only hurt the committee..but they hurt the entire area."
The memorial runs entirely off of donations and an account has been set up if you'd like to donate for repairs. An account is set up at the State National Bank of Big Spring under the Big Spring Marine Association account.
If you have any information, you're encouraged to call the Big Spring Police Department at: 264-2550.
