Odessa High Student Arrested for Facebook Threat 8/29/12

Odessa, TX – A 16 year-old student is in custody after a report of a threat on Facebook.
It happened at Odessa High School this morning around 7:00 am.
When ECISD Police were notified about the Facebook threat, they set up a perimeter around the school, searching for the suspect.
Around 8:45 am, district officials say the student was arrested.
He is now being charged with making a terroristic threat.
District officials say the situation was resolved before the first period bell.
At this time, it is not clear what the specific threat was about.
